Replacing your filter every 6 months* will assure optimum performance of your InSinkErator® hot water tank by reducing the limescale and calcium build-up inside your hot water system. The filter also improves the taste of water by significantly reducing chlorine and other impurities in your tap water.
* The filter cartridge must be replaced every 6 months at the rated capacity (454 litres), or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs.
Our hot water taps are designed to work with genuine filters supplied by InSinkErator.
The InSinkErator F-701r and F-201r water filters are specially designed for use with water that reaches temperatures up to 99°C. This is ideal for our NeoTank, which features a digital thermostat to allow users to control the temperature in the tank to between 88°C and 99°C.
This allows the filters to reduce impurities even at such high temperatures, whereas many 'compatible' filters only function with temperatures up to 80°C. This leaves you with better tasting water and also reduces the risk of any impurities sitting inside your InSinkErator hot water tank.
To ensure that you enjoy a continuous filtered water supply and keep your InSinkErator system running as you'd expect, you should change your filters every 6 months.
