General Summary

As the Marketing Intern for InSinkErator Europe you will be based in our offices in Croxley Green / Watford Business Park. The successful candidate will be part of the small marketing team (Marketing Manager and Digital / E-commerce Manager)

The role will cover branding, Advertising / PR, Digital, Comms, etc… providing you with a well-rounded amount of experience in multiple aspects of marketing.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities


  • Check PR releases under the guidance of the Marketing Manager
  • Create and manage a booklet of PR / Comms activities and distribute to sales team
  • Liaise with agencies, monitor job progress and attend meetings if necessary
  • Assist with marketing materials design and contents including proofreading and adhoc copywriting tasks
  • Market research including competitors’ comms campaigns, market trends, PR news, etc…
  • Assist with PR events and exhibitions preparation


  • Managing the company’s Twitter account under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Making minor content updates / uploads to Drupal websites
  • Social media and news monitoring
  • Outreach to promote new content initiatives
  • Assist with adhoc copywriting tasks
  • Competitor research


  • Send product images and any other materials to sales team as and when requested
  • Prepare a monthly marketing update to be distributed to the company
  • Organise the internal shared drive

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

  • Have a keen interest in marketing and digital
  • Have a strong desire to learn and be flexible in the role
  • Ideally be studying for a marketing degree / or being newly graduated
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

What's on offer

  • 1 to 2 days work per week with a salary of up to £70 per day
  • Extra work available during the holiday periods
